Audio Engineer

VHC is seeking a talented and dedicated full time Audio Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a crucial part of our team, the ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality audio experiences in live corporate events. 

The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in audio mixing and executing precise cue timing to ensure a flawless client experience. Essential qualities for this role include attention to detail, adaptability to changing requirements, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

  • Familiarity with Yamaha mixing consoles, L'Acoustics speakers, and QLab playback software.

  • Proficiency with Shure Microphones and Transmitters, RF coordination and Dante programming.

  • Experience with Clear Com communication systems.

  • Understanding of Vectorworks, L’Acoustics Soundvision, and Shure Audio Workbench.

  • Ability to grasp concepts related to audio routing principles and fiber-based transmission systems.

  • Experience reading technical documents.

  • Skills and know-how of maintaining and fixing audio equipment.

  • Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule for events occurring on weekdays, nights and weekends

  • Must be willing and able to travel for various projects as required.
